Statement of Faith and Doctrine

Tenets of Faith and Doctrine

I. We acknowledge and believe in the one, true, triune, living God - the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. We believe these personages are individual, yet inseparable Persons of the one-and-only living God.

II. We believe that the Bible is the one unmitigated, absolute, divinely inspired, word of God. We believe the Bible is borne of plenary inspiration, and therefore is without error. We further believe that God has divinely ordained the canon of the Bible, and has protected it throughout the ages.

III. We believe man is born of corrupt seed, and is therefore a sinner before receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

IV. We believe there is only one way to salvation, to be born again through faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, the only begotten Son of the Father, and the resultant indwelling of the Holy Spirit.

V. We believe that Jesus Christ, the Second Person of the Holy Trinity, came to earth, became man, was tempted in all things and yet remained sinless, and died on the cross as propitiation for our sins.

VI. We believe in Heaven and Hell, Heaven being the reward of the saved through Jesus Christ, and Hell, the consequence of not receiving Jesus as personal Lord and Savior.

VII. We believe that Jesus died, descended into Hell, conquered sin and death, and was raised after three days and ascended into Heaven, where He sits at the right hand of the Father.

VIII. We therefore believe our sins have been forgiven, that our Heavenly Father now sees us without sin, because of, and through the blood of Jesus.

IX. We believe that Jesus Christ is our High Priest.

X. We believe in the doctrine of tithes and offerings, that Jesus Christ receives, sanctifies, and blesses the tithe and offering perpetually as our High Priest.

XI. We believe in the doctrines of water baptism, the baptism of faith, and the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

XII. We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are in operation today, and being manifested through His saints, which are the Church. Furthermore, that these gifts of the Spirit are manifested particularly through those saints who have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit (the baptism of power set forth in the book of Acts).

XIII. We believe in the power of prayer, that through prayer, we have direct access to the throne of God. We therefore believe God communicates directly with us through prayer, giving us direction for our lives in accordance with His divine plan.

XIV. We believe in the teaching and preaching of the whole Gospel, and receiving all that Christ died for on the cross on our behalf.
