Greetings Partners of Don Judd Ministries,
First, let me thank you for your continued patronage of Don Judd Ministries, your obedience to God, and your prayers for His work through this ministry.
It is truly better to be in the position of being where God placed you in the Body, than doing whatever sounds good and feels good on your own behalf. Yes, I continue to encourage you to do all that you do only by His instruction and direction, and not of your own accord.
And so it is with this ministry also. Rest assured, it is our commitment to only participate according to His will and His wishes on our ministry work. Otherwise, Don Judd Ministries would just be another of man's efforts to direct and to do good, and what value is this without God's direction? Nothing! So with every project and every proposal we constantly ask, "Thy will Lord, not ours."
I come to you today fellow Partners, in this letter of encouragement, to not grow weary of doing good - of doing and seeking God's direction in your giving. And I am not speaking of giving in strictly financial terms of giving, yet not to exclude finances either. For everything we think, say, and do, is a seed.
Galatians 6:9
And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary.
This Scripture passage is such a poignant statement, that we should not lose (our) heart for doing good, and grow weary... Do you hear what God is saying? That we should not lose heart or lose our desire for doing good - that is lose our direction, His direction, His course that He has put us on by divine appointments, that we would grow in wrong directions away from His will for our lives particularly. For each on of us has been called to particular places in the Body of Christ. Yes, He is telling us that we should not lose the direction to which He has called us to.
You say you don't know what direction He has called you? Then start asking Him what is your mission and position in the Body He is calling you to. Aside from salvation, you have no more important calling than to first find His calling for you in His Body.
And once you know your calling, what He is saying is, "don't grow weary of doing good" - that is, sowing seed into the fertile soil of His will He has called you. For His promise is this: If you continue on in your well-doing according to His will, you will reap if you don't stop. That's what this verse is promising you - a harvest, a Godly harvest... in due time.
And what is "due time?" It is God's time. Remember, what may seem like a delay to you is not His denial, it is simply His timing. After all, it's His plan not ours, therefore it's His timing and not ours either. Brothers and sisters, don't become double-minded in your faith, press on in doing good, knowing it is He and He alone that you must please and no one else.
And know this, that His blessing... your harvest, is not dependent on the economy, the stock market or the housing market, or any individual or individuals, but on your seed, your faith, and His promise... this promise of a harvest... in due time.
Partners, don't grow weary (tired) of doing good, for your time, His time, is coming for harvest, if we but stay the course and not cease in doing (His) good!
In Jesus Name
Don Judd
